Privacy Statement
Questions: contact@insightlogic.one
1. Scope
This Privacy Statement explains how ShardScale Insight collects and uses personal data when you browse insightlogic.one, subscribe to briefings, or submit contact forms. It applies to visitors worldwide but highlights rights relevant to users in the Republic of Korea under the Personal Information Protection Act and related rules where applicable. If you engage us under a separate written agreement, the data clauses in that contract prevail over marketing-site descriptions when they conflict.
2. Third parties
We use a small number of processors for email delivery, analytics, and hosting. Processors are bound by written terms that restrict re-use of data beyond our instructions. We do not allow processors to market their own services to you using our contact lists without a separate lawful basis.
3. Rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal data we hold about you. Korean residents may contact us to exercise PIPA-related rights, including potential complaints to competent authorities if disputes remain unresolved after good-faith dialogue.
4. Contact
Privacy inquiries should be sent to contact@insightlogic.one. Please include enough detail for us to verify your identity without collecting excessive additional data.
5. Retention
Contact form submissions are retained for twenty-four months unless a longer period is required for legitimate legal claims, in which case we document the reason. Newsletter subscription records persist until you unsubscribe, after which we delete or anonymize identifiers within thirty days, subject to backup rotation windows.
6. Use of data
We use data to respond to inquiries, improve site clarity, and understand which consulting topics resonate with readers. We do not use marketing-site browsing data to score individuals for credit, employment, or unrelated advertising networks.
7. Data collected
We collect identifiers such as name, email address, company name when provided, and message content you voluntarily submit. Technical logs may include IP address, user agent, and timestamps collected by our hosting provider for security monitoring.
8. Security measures
We apply TLS in transit, role-based access to inbound mailboxes, and least-privilege credentials for staff who respond to submissions. No method of transmission is perfectly secure; if you must share highly sensitive credentials, use a channel your security team approves rather than plain email.
9. International transfers
Some processors may store data outside Korea. When that occurs, we rely on contractual clauses and vendor certifications appropriate to the risk. You may request additional information about safeguards, understanding that some commercial details may be redacted under confidentiality obligations.
10. Automated decisions
We do not use fully automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects based solely on marketing-site browsing. If that stance changes, we will update this Statement and provide a clear opt-out where required.
11. Policy changes
Material updates will be reflected in this Statement and may be announced through a site notice or newsletter where appropriate. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance of reasonable administrative updates that do not reduce your rights.
12. Definitions
"Personal data" means information relating to an identified or identifiable individual as described under applicable law. "We" refers to ShardScale Insight operating the insightlogic.one marketing site.
